Mrs. Miranda Rosetta Collins Nicholson, age 72 of Banks Road, Carnesville, Georgia passed away Sunday, August 20, 2017 at St. Mary’s Sacred Heart Hospital, Lavonia, Georgia.
A daughter of the late Luther Mack and Emma Ramsey Collins, she was born December 12, 1944 in Stephens County, Georgia where she lived most of her life and the last five years in Carnesville. She was employed with Wright’s Manufacturing for a number of years and was a member of Currahee Baptist Church.
Survivors include her husband of the home, Johnny A. Nicholson; three sons and daughters-in-law, Mack and Rhonda Nicholson of Carnesville, Dale and Tammy Nicholson and Warren and Marsha Nicholson both of Eastanollee; twelve grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Joe and Joyce Collins and Tom and Betty Collins both of Toccoa; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Lois and Jimmy Edmonds and Joyce and Benny Brown both of Toccoa.
Graveside services will be Wednesday, August 23, 2017, 11 O’clock A.M. at Currahee Baptist Church Cemetery with The Reverend Gary Ledford and The Reverend David Ledford officiating. The following gentlemen will serve as pallbearers, Thomas Nicholson, Robby Chance, Logan Chance, Jamie White, Tyler Goggins, Cecil Nicholson, Jay Nicholson and Bruce Chance.
The family will be at the home of Mr. & Mrs. Dale Nicholson, 3169 Liberty Hill Road, Eastanollee and will receive friends at the Acree-Davis Funeral Home on Tuesday from 6 P.M. until 8 P.M. Online condolences can be made at www.acree-davisfh.com.
