Gerald Paul Angie

Gerald Paul Angie, age 79, of Duluth, GA passed away on Monday, August 21, 2017. He was preceded in death by his wife, Maryellen Angie. He is survived by his son, Franklin P. Angie, Duluth, GA; sisters, Betty DeCoste, Rochester, NY, Lorraine Dill, and Edna Foster, Rochester, NY; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Mr. Angie was born in Rochester, New York on March 16, 1938. He was a veteran of the U. S. Navy. He was a 1955 graduate of Madison High School in Rochester, NY. He had a bachelor’s degree from Syracuse University. He was retired from Eastman Kodak after thirty years of service as a heating and air technician. He was a member of Regency Church of God in Buford. Funeral services honoring the life of Mr. Gerald Angie will be held on Saturday, August 26, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. at Regency Church of God in Sugar Hill, GA with Pastor Terry Reece, Bishop Shannon Truelove and Bishop Clyde Hughes officiating. Mr. Angie will be placed in the church to lie in state at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 26, 2017. Interment will follow at Broadlawn Memorial Gardens in Buford, GA with military honors. The family will receive friends on Friday, August 25, 2017 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Flanigan Funeral Home in Buford, GA.
