Evelyn Audrey Metcalf

Evelyn Metcalf of Saint Augustine, Florida, formerly of Cleveland, GA passed away August 1, 2017.  Evelyn was born in New York, New York on February 28, 1931 to the late George Ferguson and Pauline Beshely Ferguson.  She moved to south Florida at the age of three where she was a 1949 graduate of West Palm Beach High School.  Evelyn stated her career with Bellhouse Windows and later worked for Guthrie, Jacob, and Eubanks as a bookkeeper.  Following her and husbands retirement in 1994 they moved to White County in 1995.  She was active in the Rainbow Girls, Eastern Star, as well as her community and church until the passing of her husband in January of 2014 at which time she moved to St. Augustine to live with her son.    

Her family will receive friends on Sunday, August 13, 2017 from 5 until 7.  Funeral services will be held  Monday, August 14, 2017 at 11 AM in the funeral home chapel.  Interment will be in Mt. Pleasant United Methodist Church Cemetery.
