Richard “Dick” McMinn

Richard “Dick” McMinn, age 91, of Lawrenceville, GA passed away on Tuesday, August 8, 2017. He was preceded in death by his son, Mark McMinn. He is survived by his wife of sixty-three years, Jeanette Craig McMinn, Lawrenceville, GA; sons and daughters-in-law, Craig and Debbie McMinn, Lawrenceville, GA, Denise McMinn, Philadelphia, PA, Richard A. and Donna McMinn, Penn Yan, NY; grandchildren, Lauren and Brandon Tully, Carly McMinn, and Connor McMinn; great grandchildren, Peyton Tully, and Weston Tully. Mr. McMinn was born December 5, 1925 in Piedmont, North Carolina. He was a graduate of Penn Yan High School in Penn Yan, NY. He was retired from the U. S. States Army after twenty-one years of service and was a World War II veteran. He also retired from SCM Corporation after twenty years of service and was a realtor in Panama City, Florida. Mr. McMinn was an avid golfer and a member of the Panama City Country Club. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, August 19, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. in the Chapel of Flanigan Funeral Home in Buford, GA with Pastor Charles Godwin of Restoration Presbyterian Church in Hoschton, GA officiating.
