Francis “F.B.” Griffis

Francis “F.B.” Griffis, age 79, of Cumming, GA, passed away Saturday, August 5, 2017.He was a member of Trinity Worship Center in Cumming, GA. F.B. served his country well as a United States Navy Veteran. While attending Trinity Worship Center, F.B. served as an Elder, Sunday school teacher and a member of the Finance Committee. He is preceded in death by his parents, Floyd and Rena Mae Griffis, and brother, Harold Griffis.

He is survived by his loving wife, Darlene Griffis; children, Dr. Ken (Sheila) Griffis and Keith (Kerri) Griffis; grandchildren, Kenedi, Mekena, Jillian, Prestyn, Kaileigh and Chandler Griffis; sister, Doris Bowles; along with many other loving relatives and friends.

Funeral services for Mr. Griffis will be held Saturday, August 12, 2017, at 11:00 a.m. in the Chapel of Ingram Funeral Home in Cumming, GA. Graveside services for immediate family will be held Monday at Georgia National Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Saturday, at the Funeral Home from 10:00 a.m. until the hour of service.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in memory of F.B. Griffis to Trinity Worship Center’s Restoration Fund.
