Van Keifer Skelton, III

Van Keifer Skelton, III, 63, of Dawsonville passed away Sunday August 6, 2017.

Born March 10, 1954 in Miami, Florida to the late Van and Dorothy Skelton, he had lived in Dawson County for the past 21 years having moved from Cobb County.  Mr. Skelton enjoyed fishing, cooking, classic cars, gardening, was a U. S. Army veteran and was a member of the First Baptist Church of Dawsonville.

Surviving are his wife of 38 years, Janice Skelton, son and daughter in law, Jason and Miki Skelton; daughter and son in law, Michelle and Daniel Stahl; grandson, Charlie Skelton; sisters and brother in law, Lana Caplan, Vanetta and Robert Bennett.

Memorial services will be held Wednesday August 9, 2017 at 2 o’clock at the First Baptist Church of Dawsonville.  Dr. Jim Gaines will officiate.
