Agnes Lillian Gilbert Arnold

Graveside services for Agnes Lillian Gilbert Arnold, age 92 of Martin, formerly of Clarkesville, will be held on Monday, August 7, 2017 at the Hills Crossing Cemetery at 1:00 p.m. with Rev. Walter Singletary officiating.   

Mrs. Arnold passed away Saturday, August 5, 2017. 

Born on March 2, 1925 in Lillington, North Carolina, Mrs. Arnold was the daughter of the late Cary and Annie Collins Gilbert.  She worked as a waitress at Woolworth Department Store and a member of Hills Crossing Baptist Church.   She is preceded in death by husband John Gilbert, daughter Cheryl Patton and grandson Chad Bowman. 

Mrs. Arnold is survived by daughter Bonnie Bohannon of Martin, son Brian Arnold of Lawrenceville, and grandchildren John Bohannon, Tammy Bowen, Billie Bohannon, Michael Bohannon, Holly Hayes, Seth Patton and Jared Arnold, as well as 10 great-grandchildren.   

The family will receive friends at Hillside Memorial Chapel on Sunday, August 6, 2017 from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm.
