Mae Carver Britton

Mae Carver Britton, age 71, of Alto, Georgia, passed away on Friday August 4, 2017.

Mrs. Britton was born on February 5, 1946 in Sylva, North Carolina to the late Grant and Ada Deitz Carver. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Charles R. Britton; brother and sister-in-law, James and JoAnn Carver. She attended Alto Baptist Church, and was a homemaker.

Survivors include her sons and daughters-in-law, Steve and Shelia Britton, of Becker, MN; Chris and Catrina Britton, of Cornelia; sister, Arlene Roper, of Sylva, NC; grandchildren, Faith Britton, Noah Britton, Grant Britton, and Max Britton.

Funeral Services will be held at 3:00 p.m., Sunday, August 6, 2017 at Whitfield Funeral Home, North Chapel with Rev. Raymond Payne officiating. Interment will follow in Yonah Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive friends from 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m., Sunday, August 6, 2017 at the funeral home prior to the service.
