James Larry McClure

James Larry McClure, age 70, of Gainesville, GA passed away on Thursday, August 3, 2017.

James was born in Chamblee, lived in Doraville and Cumming for most of his life. He moved with his wife and resided for the past 10 years in Gainesville. He retired from Lucent Technologies after about 30 years of service.  James loved woodworking and baseball.

He is survived by his wife, Becky McClure and his two sons Ben and Matt, 3 brothers, 2 grandchildren and many other family members.

Funeral services will be held 1:00 p.m. Saturday, August 5, 2017 at Little & Davenport Chapel.  Rev. Terry Walton will officiate.  Interment will follow in Alta Vista Cemetery.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday, August 4, 2017, from 4:00 – 8:00 p.m.
