Judy Tiner Burton

Judy Tiner Burton, age 73 of Jefferson, passed away Monday, July 31, 2017 at her residence following an extended illness.
 Memorial services will be held on Saturday, August 5, 2017 at 4:00pm in the Chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 2:00-4:00pm prior to the service.
 Mrs. Burton was born March 19, 1943 in Chapel Hill, North Carolina to W.L. Tiner and Louise Lance Tiner. She was retired from Mitsubishi and was a member of Free Chapel Worship Center. Mrs. Burton was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, David Hughes.
 Mrs. Burton is survived by her daughter, Tina Vanaslstine of Jefferson; son, David Hughes of Roswell; son, Scott Hughes of Jefferson; son, Dan Hughes of Gainesville; grandson, Shane Hughes; grandson, Tyler Hughes; grandson, Austin Buffington; grandson, Jacob Hughes; granddaughter, Jessica Buffington; great-grandsons, Ty Murray and Camden Humphries; great-granddaughters, Ambrey Hughes and Emori Hughes; sister, Sue Scogin of Carlton and brother, Charlie Tiner of Jonesboro.
