Halil Handac

Halil Handac, age 83, of Buford, GA passed away on Monday, July 31, 2017. He is survived by his wife of sixty years, Nadezda Handac, Buford, GA; children, Zac and Senada Handac, Buford, GA, and Nela Ferrian, Portland, ME; and five grandchildren. Mr. Handac was born April 24, 1934 in Bosnia. He was a retired a professor from the University of Mostar, also a retired custodian from the Gwinnett County School System and Phoenix High School. The family will receive friends on Friday, August 4, 2017 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. in a stateroom of Flanigan Funeral Home in Buford, GA. A private interment will be held at a later date.
