Kathleen Reed

Kathleen Reed, age 85, of Oakwood, GA passed away on Saturday, July 29, 2017.

Born in Oakwood, GA, Kathleen was a lifetime resident of Hall County.  She was of the Baptist faith.  She retired from Barry Manufacturing.

Kathleen was preceded in death by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Price Reed; brother and sister-in-law, Wade and Mildred Reed; sister and brother-in-law, Margaret & Claude McClure; brother, Myron Reed; and niece, Carol Couch.

She is survived by her sister and brother-in-law, Mary and Perino Cochran; sisters and brothers-in-law, Blanche and Burlon Couch, Vivian and Joe Conner; sister, Hazel Smith; and a number of nieces, nephews, grandnieces, and grandnephews.

Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, August 2, 2017 at Oakwood Cemetery in Oakwood, GA.  Rev. Phil Carpenter and Rev. David Smith will officiate.    The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 12:00 -2:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
