Thomas Roy Fortson

Thomas Roy Fortson, age 70, of Cumming, GA, passed away Friday, July 28, 2017. Roy was a Marine Veteran who loved his daughter and grandchildren. He enjoyed watching his granddaughters play softball and practice Tae kwon do. He loved playing Tennis, photography and traveling with his family. Roy  is preceded in death by his parents, Sam and Anna Fortson; brothers, Clay and Sam Fortson and his sister, Nancy Buttemere.

He is survived by his daughter and son in law, Amber and Keith Marchman of Cumming; granddaughters, Hannah and Kayla; his daughter’s mother, Phyllis McKeller of Alpharetta and numerous beloved nieces, nephews and cousins

Memorial services for Mr. Fortson will be held Saturday, August 5, 2017, at 3:00 p.m. in the chapel of Ingram Funeral Home. The family will receive friends on Friday, August 4, 2017 at the funeral home from 6 to 9 p.m. and Saturday from 1:00 p.m. until the hour of service.
