Thomas 'T.J.' Moses

Thomas “T.J.” Moses, Jr., 60, of Commerce passed away on Friday, July 28, 2017 following an extended illness.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, July 31, 2017 in the chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home. Rev. Dave Channell will officiate. Interment will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday, July 30, 2017 from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. and from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.

Born on October 13, 1956 in Athens, TN he was the son of the late Thomas Joe Moses, Sr. and Shirley McDaniel Moses. He was a self-employed electrician and of the Baptist faith.

Mr. Moses is survived by his wife, Janet Moses of Commerce; sons and daughters in law, Tim Moses (Leanne) of Commerce, Terry Moses (Lacey) of Gainesville; grandchildren, Marleigh, Mason, Ava and Landon Moses; mother, Shirley Moses of Gainesville; sister, Tammy Gee of Cleveland; brother, Mike Moses of Gainesville.
