Faith Denese “Aunt Sacy” Long

Faith Denese “Aunt Sacy” Long, age 59, of Mount Airy, Georgia, went to be with The Lord on Thursday, July 27, 2017, after a short battle with cancer.

Ms. Long was born on October 5, 1957 in Gainesville, Georgia. She was preceded in death by her father, Charles Donald Long; grandparents, Sanford and Lottie Landers; and Mr. and Mrs. Newman Long. Ms. Long was of the Baptist Faith, and was a retired Nanny.

Survivors include her mother, Lorna Landers Long Reece, of Mount Airy; sisters, Hope Long , of Mount Airy; Melody Bryson, of Mount Airy; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Sunday, July 30, 2017 at Whitfield Funeral Home, North Chapel with Rev. Billy Burrell officiating. Interment will follow in the Hazel Creek Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Trent Smith officiating.

The family will receive friends from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., Saturday, July 29, 2017 at the funeral home.
