George English

George English, (Billy) age 78, of Dawsonville, GA, passed away Thursday, July 27, 2017. Billy was an Army veteran, a member of Masonic Lodge #235 in Alpharetta and the American Legion in Florida. He was also a member of Hopewell Baptist Church in Milton. He is preceded in death by his parents, J.D. and Aileen English.

Billy is survived by his wife of 25 years Betty Brown of Dawsonville; sons, Kevin Warren English of Dawsonville and Scott Bradley of Johns Creek; step sons, Keith (Donna) Akins of Gainesville, Tony (Tina) Burnett of Cumming, Timothy Burnett of Cumming; two grandchildren, Shiann Merrill English, Kenzly Rain English; brother, Michael (Dianne) English of North Carolina; sister, Patricia Blackwell of Dawsonville and other loving relatives and friends.

Funeral services for Mr. English will be held Sunday, July 30, 2017, at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Ingram Funeral Home with Rev. Jackie Stewart officiating. The family will receive friends on Saturday, July 29, 2017 at the funeral home from 5 to 9 p.m. and on Sunday from 12:00 p.m. until the hour of service.

Flowers will be accepted or donations may be made to The American Red Cross monetarily or by blood donation.
