Harriett Susan Lackey

Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m. Thursday, July 27, 2017 at Calvary Baptist Church for Harriett Susan Lackey, age 70 of Gainesville. The Rev. Raymond Latty will officiate. Interment will follow at the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Mrs. Lackey passed away Sunday July 23, 2017.

Mrs. Lackey was born in Hall County to the late Raymond William Latty and Frances Toney Latty. She retired from Northeast Georgia Medical Center and was a member of Calvary Baptist Church. She loved reading, traveling and had an avid love of all animals. She was preceded in death by her husband, Roy Lackey and aunts, Verlene Elliott, Reba Lopez.

Survivors include son and daughter in law, Deewayne Paul and Dawn Lackey, Lula, daughter and son in law, Beverly Clark and Joel Clark, Gainesville, brother, John Latty, Gainesville, sisters, Hilda Latty, Gainesville, Harlie Huffman, Gainesville, aunts, Lottie Belle Latty, Gainesville, Betty Toney, Gainesville, grandchildren, Ansley Nicole Clark, Caden Ridge Clark and a number of nieces and nephews.
