John Scott Pocock

John Scott Pocock, age 56, of Gainesville, GA  was born in Detroit, Michigan on June 23, 1961 to the late James Walter Pocock and his widow, Fay Ellen.  John died peacefully in Northeast GA Medical Center surrounded by loved ones on July 21, 2017.

John loved spending time with his friends and family, as well as anything outdoors, including hunting, fishing, and camping. Surviving are his mother, Fay Pocock, his children John (Jennifer) Pocock, Christopher Pocock and Daniel Pocock, two grandchildren Jacen and Addison Pocock, and his six siblings, Kenneth Pocock, Mike (Addi) Pocock, Paul (Darlene) Pocock, Margaret (Keith) Platt, Bernadette (Darry) Taylor and James Pocock. He has seven nephews, two nieces, three great nephews, one great niece and many more extended family members.

Funeral services for John Scott Pocock will be held Monday, July 24 at 7 pm at Blackshear Place Church. 3428 Atlanta Hwy, Flowery Branch, GA 30542.
