Martha Wallace Perkins, age 69, of Freehome, passed away Saturday, July 15, 2017 surrounded by her family. Martha was a member of New Harmony Baptist Church. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother and truly worshipped and adorned her grandsons. Martha loved people and enjoyed life. She was preceded in death by her parents Ralph Harold and Myrtie Stephens Wallace; sister, Mary Porter.
Survivors include her husband, David Perkins of Freehome; daughters and son-in-law, Stacy D. Bearden of Atlanta, Brandi P. and Brad Cox of Dawsonville; grandsons, Dakkon Doust of Alpharetta, Trevor Cox of Dawsonville; brother and sister-in-law, James H. and JoAnn Wallace of Cumming; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Tom and Taryn Perkins of Freehome, Tim and Mechell Perkins of Freehome; Chris and Jodi Porter of Cumming; many nieces, nephews and other relatives also survive.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, July 19th at 2:00 pm at Ingram Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Joey Wallace, Rev. Johnny Purcell and Rev. Donnie Nix officiating. Interment will follow in Sawnee View Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at Ingram Funeral Home on Monday from 5:00 pm until 9:00 pm, Tuesday from11:00 am until 2:00 pm and 5:00 pm until 9:00 pm and Wednesday from 10:00 am until the hour of the service.
