Robert L. White Sr

Evans Funeral Home announces the death of Mr. Robert L. White Sr., age 87, of Jefferson, Georgia, passed away on July 12, 2017. Mr. White was born in Savannah, Georgia, a son to the late Lesley and Delsie Dixon White. Mr. White was retired from General Motors where he was a Pipe Fitter. He was a member of the United States Army, serving in the 82^nd Airborne in the Korean War. In addition to his parents, Mr. White was preceded in death by his brother, Joseph White.

Survivors include his wife, Gayle Corbitt White of Jefferson; son, Robert White Jr. and his wife Candy of Auburn, daughters, Joyce Williams and her husband Don of Destin, FL, Cynthia Railey and her husband Ron of Bluffton, SC, brother, Eugene White and his wife Louise of Bloomingdale, GA, grandchildren, Jacob, Jordan and Joey White, Lori Gunter and husband Johnny, Wes Chatham and wife Jenn, Brent Durden and wife Anna, Angi Byrd and husband Jeff. Great grandchildren; Zachary and Brooke White, Chatham and Camden Gunter, Nash and Rhett Chatham, Ashley, Patrick, Allison and Tyler McLaney, Stephanie Hodge and husband Michael, and Charlotte Railey; great great grandchildren, Jaiden and Abigail McLaney, Zoe, Ava, and Lauren Hodge and Makinzie McMahon.

The Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, July 15, 2017 at 1:00 PM at the Tabernacle International Church at 270 Simonton Road, SW, Lawrenceville, Georgia 30046, with Rev. Fred D. Musser officiating.
