Maddux Kai Smith

On July 8th, 2017 at 2:51 pm Maddux Kai Smith came into our lives at 20 weeks 5 days old. Preterm labor began due to cervical incompetence and the water sac pushing through. He was stillborn at 15 oz and 11 inches long with the sweetest little face, hands and feet. No doubt he had some hands and feet for baseball. For some reason it wasn't his season, he moved on to the big leagues in heaven.

It was a miracle to see him and see my husband who is my rock be a rock for me and our son Maddux. He showed so much love, strength and courage in the midst of our hurting. We appreciate all the Love, support, prayers and visits from our family and friends who we cherish more than anything in this world. We covet your prayers and compassion for us during this time. We can't say thank you enough to NGPG, Dr. Wood and all the amazing nurse staff in Labor and Delivery at NEGMC, our friends and our families! Thank you so much. We love each one of You!

To our sweet boy, We love you Maddux Kai and we are thankful for the promise of seeing you again soon. We hope you play lots of baseball and score homeruns! Remember we are your biggest fans!
