Mrs. Vannessa Clark was born November 16, 1961 to the late Willie B. Hudson and Larie Hill Hudson. She attended Hall County Schools. Vannessa worked at the Bell-Minor Nursing Home and provided private homecare for numerous clients. She will be sorely missed.
Vannessa gave her life to Christ at an early age, and joined Gum Springs Baptist Church under the leadership of Rev. Hill. She later joined Antioch Baptist Church. She met and married the love of her life, John Rolley Clark and celebrated forty-two years of togetherness. From this union four lovely children were born. She was a dedicated housewife and mother. She was always willing to help others with an open heart and open arms and had a passion for children and animals. Vannessa helped raise many children in the community.
On July 3, 2017, she departed this life at her residence.
She leaves to cherish her memory her husband, John R. Clark; sons, Xavier Clark (Penelope), Kellen Clark, Sr. (Sherika); daughters, Latavia Johnson (Dwayne), Kristen Clark; brother, Darryl Hudson (Susie); sisters, Leisa Hudson, Marjorie Lott; father, Clyde Demory; half-sisters, Mary Demory, Doris Demory; grandchildren, Sydney Johnson, Chase Johnson, Brittany Poole, Zoe Johnson, Katelyn Johnson, London Clark, Xavian Clark, Kyndal Clark, Kellen Clark, Jr.; father in law, Ernest Clark and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends.
Memorial services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, July 8, 2017 at Antioch Baptist Church.
