Bobby C. Weldy, Sr

Bobby C. Weldy, Sr., age 86, of Forsyth County, GA, passed away Wednesday, July 5, 2017.  Bob was a sharpshooter; member of the NRA and the president of the Glades Pistol Club in Miami, FL. He was an avid hunter, fisherman and a member of the Chestatee Bass Club. He is preceded in death by his loving wife, Robbie Weldy; parents J.A. and Evelyn Weldy, brothers, Earl, Wendell and Gene Weldy; mother-in-law, Callie Garner; brother-in-law, William Garner; sons-in-law, H. Harry Oakley, Jr. and J.D. Mackler; and great granddaughter, Abigail Lynn Schwieger.

He is survived by his children, Carolyn Oakley, Lynnette Weldy and George Olliff, Sr., Gail Mackler, Bobby C. Weldy, Jr., Marie Wood,  Beth and Tony Delatorre; sister and brother-in-law, Patricia and Lewis Jordan; sister-in-law, Rose Garner; 16 grandchildren; 22 great grandchildren; and 5 great-great grandchildren.

Funeral services for Mr. Weldy will be held Sunday, July 9, 2017, at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Ingram Funeral Home with Rev. Tommy Weldy officiating. Interment will follow at Sawnee View Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends on Saturday, July 8, at the funeral home from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. and on Sunday, from 12:00 p.m. until the hour of service.
