Mr. James Talmadge Pace, age 69 of Kristy’s Path Drive, Eastanollee passed away Monday, July 3, 2017 at his residence.
A son of the late James Heisure Pace and Alice Terrell Pace, he was born August 21, 1947 in Stephens County, Georgia where he lived all his life. He was retired from Coats and Clark with 36 years of service. He was a member of Tom’s Creek Baptist Church and the Men’s Sunday School Class. He enjoyed gardening. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Edwin Pace.
Survivors include his wife of the home, Carolyn McIntyre Pace; three sons and daughter-in-law, James and Kim Pace of Toccoa, Matthew Pace and Timothy Pace both of Eastanollee; granddaughter, Kaylee Duley and husband Tyler of Toccoa; brother and sister-in-law, Kenneth and Joan Pace of Soperton, Georgia; sister-in-law, Joyce Pace of Toccoa; sisters-in-law, Joyce Finley, Emily Banks and husband Tony both of Toccoa, Diane and Dean Dills of Clarkesville, Vivian and Charles Jones of Dawsonville, Delores and Ben Davis of Dandridge, Tennessee, Nellie Sheets and Mary Jo and Mike Derden both of Cumming; step-mother-in-law, Elizabeth McIntyre of Cumming.
Funeral services will be Thursday, July 6, 2017, 11 O’clock A.M in the Hillcrest Chapel of the Acree-Davis Funeral Home with The Reverend Wayne Marcus and The Reverend Clack Stubbs officiating. The following gentlemen will serve as pallbearers, Dale Pace, Johnny Pace, Chris Pace, Wesley Pace, Levi Justus and Tyler Duley.
The family will be at the home and will receive friends at the Acree-Davis Funeral Home on Wednesday from 6 P.M. until 8 P.M. Online condolences can be made at www.acree-davisfh.com.

Interment will follow in the Tom’s Creek Baptist Church Cemetery with the Acree-Davis Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements for Mr. James Talmadge Pace.
