Mr. Randall Gene Tanner, age 64 of Murrayville, passed away on Monday, July 3, 2017 at his residence following a sudden illness.
Funeral services are scheduled for Friday, July 7, 2017 at 2:00 pm in the Chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home with interment to follow in Murrayville Congregational Holiness Church Cemetery, Murrayville, GA. Reverend James Kanaday will officiate. The family will receive friends on Thursday, July 6, 2017 from 5 – 8 pm at the funeral home.
Mr. Tanner was born May 1, 1953 in Flowery Branch, Georgia to the late Telford Tanner and Roselind Timms Tanner. He was disabled at the time of death but was previously employed with Macklanburg-Duncan. Randall was preceded in death by his parents, his sister, Annie Sue Roberts and his brother, James Tanner. He was of the Holiness Faith.
Mr. Tanner is survived by his companion, Evelyn McGinnis of Murrayville, his sons & daughters-in-law, Corey & Dena Tanner of Dawsonville, Neil & Brandie Tanner of Murrayville and Clint & Stacy Tanner of Clarkesville, 7 grandchildren, his sisters, Joyce Cleveland of Chestnut Mountain, Barbara Head of Braselton and Marie Tanner of Flowery Branch, his brothers, Larry Tanner of Ponte Verde Beach, Florida and Terry Tanner of Lula.
