Vincent Anthony Saputo

Mr. Vincent Anthony Saputo, age 63, of Buford passed away Thursday, June 29, 2017 at his residence, surrounded by his family.

Funeral Mass will be 1:00 p.m., Wednesday, July 5, 2017 at Prince of Peace Catholic Church with interment following at Memorial Park South Cemetery.  Father Eric Hill will officiate.  The family will receive friends 12:00 – 1:00 p.m., Wednesday, July 5, 2017 at the church.

Mr. Saputo was born October 21, 1953 to the late Salvatore & Rose Marie Saputo in St. Louis, Missouri.  He was a member of Prince of Peace Catholic Church, where he served in Christ Renews His Parish (CRP) and St. Vincent dePaul Society. He worked for many years as a volunteer for the American Cancer Society.  Mr. Saputo attended Southern Illinois University in Edwardsville for his undergrad degree, where he was a member of Delta Chi, and received his Master’s Degree from National Louis University in Chicago.  A longtime newspaper man and advertising representative, he was a National Sales Manager for Penton Media.

Mr. Saputo is survived by his wife, Melody Lynn Saputo of Buford; daughter & son-in-law, Adrienne & Nathan Hoyt of Sandy Springs; son & daughter-in-law, Anthony & Mary Beth Saputo of Acworth; grandson, Wyatt Hoyt; and several nieces & nephews.  He was preceded in death by his parents; and sisters, Elizabeth Saputo and Rosie Schmisseur.
