Nina C. Collins, 78, passed away on Wednesday, June 28, 2017 after a courageous battle with Parkinson’s. She was born in Corinth, MS in 1939.
She is preceded in death by her parents Thomas and Mrytle Cooper and her son, John C. Collins.
Nina is survived by her daughter, Leah C. Finch and son-in-law, William A. Finch of Cumming, GA; daughter, Ellen C. Stiteler of Dallas, GA; four grandchildren, Anna Cathryn Finch, Rachel Finch, Beau Stiteler and Jacob Stiteler, as well as cousins and many close friends.
Nina had a deep love for travel and was fortunate enough to see many places in her lifetime. Her favorites were Ireland and St. Simons. She loved Calligraphy, cooking and butterflies.
Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, July 6, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at the Holy Innocents Episcopal Church, 805 Mt. Vernon Hwy, NW, Atlanta, GA 30327.
In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to Hospice of Northeast Georgia Medical Center, Gainesville, GA.
