Agnes Marlene Richey

Agnes Marlene Richey, age 92, of Commerce, GA passed away Wednesday, June 28, 2017 at her residence.
 
Born on November 20, 1924 in Danielsville, GA she was the daughter of the late Lauris Ozroe and Pammie Faye Lewallen Martin. She was a homemaker, long time member of Webbs Creek Baptist Church, and was preceded in death by son and daughter-in-law, David & Frances Richey, and daughter, Linda Richey.
 
Survivors include sons and daughters-in-law, James A. and Joyce Richey, Hiawassee, Fredrick R. and Judy Richey, Lula; daughters, Elizabeth Ann Purdy, Commerce; brothers, Robert Martin, Richmond, VA, Verner Martin, Statham; 6 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, 5 great great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
 
Funeral services will be held 11:00 am Saturday, July 01, 2017 at Ivie Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Anthony Dye officiating. Burial will follow in Webbs Creek Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends 6-8 pm Friday at the funeral home.
 
In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Mt. Zion Baptist Church in Hiawassee, GA.
