Wendell Kinsey age 76 of Gainesville passed away Saturday June 24, 2017.
Mr. Kinsey was born February 28, 1941 in Gainesville, GA to the late Willis H.& Annie Yancey Kinsey. He was retired, having worked at Kings Delight and Peterson Engineering. He served in the Army Reserves and was preceded in death by his brothers, Wilburn Kinzey, Charles Kent, & Marvin Kent, sister, Joann Cantrell.
Survivors include, daughters & sons in law, Wendi & John Wayne Abernathy of Lula, Tiffani & Lee Wallis of Alpharetta, Lynn & Kenny Sizemore of Cleveland, daughter, Cindy Thompson of Cleveland, former wife of 43 years, Sandy Kinsey of Gainesville, grandchildren, Kacey (Jeff ) Cox, Corban (Meagan) Sizemore, Lauren Abernathy, Adam Thompson, McKinsey Wallis, Cameron Sizemore, Mallory Wallis, great granddaughter, Harper Cox, brother, Willis Kinsey of Oakwood, sister in law, Jeanette Kinzey of Clermont, special friend, Kesha Vasser of Flowery Branch. A number of nieces and nephews also survive.
The family will receive friends from 5-7 Tuesday June 27, 2017 at Ivie Funeral Home, Commerce. Private services will be held at a later date.
