Robert Lee Knight

Robert Lee Knight, age 83, of Buford, GA passed away Wednesday, June 21, 2017. He is survived by his wife of sixty-two years, Agnes Coughlin Knight, Buford, GA; children, Theresa and Jack Cheseldine, Cecilia Sevin, Diane and Roger Vanderwest, and Denise and Chris Jones; six grandchildren, Maddie Cheseldine, Jarrett Sevin, Abbie Vanderwest, Colleen and Chris Snook, Alison Cheseldine, and Ryan Vanderwest. Mr. Knight was born April 21, 1934 in Washington, D.C. He was a graduate of Washington High School in Alexandria, VA. He was an automobile salesman for the Chevrolet Company and the former president of the Lions Club in Arlington, VA. He was a member of Prince of Peace Catholic Church, and he enjoyed boating, model airplanes and trains. A memorial service will be held on Thursday, July 6, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at Prince of Peace Catholic Church in Flowery Branch, GA. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Heart Association in memory of Robert L. Knight.
