Tasia Marie Gartner

Miss Tasia Marie Gartner, age 16, of Canton, Georgia, passed from this world on June 19th, 2017 at 10:30 pm in McDonough Georgia.    

Tasia was born January 14, 2001 in Canton, Georgia to Steven Gartner and Michelle Morton. After her birth mother’s passing, Tasia was raised and loved by her guardians, Clay and Lisa Ragsdale. She enjoyed spending time with her friends and family, music, drawing, swimming, and writing stories. She was a typical sixteen year old girl who loved life.

Tasia left behind her parents, Clay and Lisa Ragsdale; her father, Steven Gartner; brothers, Jacob Morton, Steven Gartner Jr., Wesley Ragsdale, Austin Ragsdale, and Drew Ragsdale; sisters, Charli Ragsdale and Tabitha Gartner; grandparents, Carl Morton, Carl and Shari Valeri, Travis and Brenda Ragsdale; aunts, Brenda Brown, Michelle Bryant, and Bridgett Earlywine; uncle, Shane Morton, niece, Niah Morton, nephews, Noah Morton and Mason Morton, cousins, Skyler and Nova Miller, Shelby Valeri, Lana Rogers, Kimberlie Lapaglia, Christopher Douglas and Anton Bocek; best friends, Richard Smith, Kellsie Duffy, Eliza Green, Kamryn Land, Nikki Brendel and Danielle Sheppard.

Services will be held Sunday, June 25, 2017 at 2:00 pm in the Chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home, 2030 Memorial Park Road, Gainesville, Georgia with interment to follow in Memorial Park Cemetery.  Reverend Jimmy Bellamy, Jr. will officiate.  The family will receive friends on Saturday, June 24, 2017 from 5 – 8 pm at the funeral home.
