Martha Mauldin "Louise" Barnett

Martha “Louise” Mauldin Barnett, 87 of Gainesville died Sunday, June 11, 2017 at her residence.

Mrs. Barnett was born in Atlanta, GA., to the late William Barnes and Catherine McDonald Mauldin.  She graduated from West Fulton High School in Atlanta, GA.  She worked as a secretary at Barnett Advertising and Postmark Atlanta.  She was a member of Gainesville First United Methodist Church. 

Survivors include her daughter Susan Barnett Brown and son-in-law David Brown; brother, William B. Mauldin, Jr.; sister, Carol Mauldin Hunerwadel; granddaughter, Catherine Davis Humphrys; great-granddaughter, Kimberleigh Paige Pittman; great-grandson, Keith Harrison Little; two great-great granddaughters. 

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Barnett is preceded in death by husband, Jack Harrison Barnett.

A Memorial Service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday June 24, 2017 at Gainesville First United Methodist Church.  Rev. Scott Hearn and Rev. Kathy Lamon will officiate.  Interment will be in the church columbarium. The family will receive friends after the service at the church. 

In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that donations be made to Eagle Ranch, P O Box 7200 Chestnut Mountain, GA.  30502.
