Joan Crowe Maddox, 90, passed away at her home on June 16, 2017 after a brief battle with cancer. She was born October 10, 1926 in Bradenton, Florida to parents Howard Dewey Crowe and Helen Jewel Popwell-Crowe.
She is survived by a daughter, Marsha Prestridge, wife of Aubrey Prestridge. Two granddaughters, Rebecca Williams, wife of Daniel Williams and Beth Wood, wife of Morgan Wood. Three great grandchildren, Jonathan Williams and wife, Kayla, Rachel Williams and Matthew Williams.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 54 years, Natt Maddox. Together they founded Maddox Drugs of Toccoa. She was a dedicated member of the First Methodist Church of Toccoa and an avid golfer.
