Mrs. Edna Henderson,daughter of the late John Coleman and Beatrice Coleman. Edna passed awaypeacefully on June 14th, 2017, in Cleveland Georgia. Edna dedicatedher life to God and was baptized in 1962 as one of Jehovah’s Witnesses.
Edna was born on February4th, 1939 in Chicago Illinois. She met Sam Henderson, her nowsurviving husband. Edna & Sam raiseda family of 7 kids in a loving home in North Chicago, IL. In 1998, Edna & Sam moved to Huntsville,Alabama to retire. In 2008 they moved backto Gurnee, IL where they could get more assistance from their sons. Once the cold weather started to affect theirliving again, they relocated south, to where their daughter lived, inCleveland, GA, where Edna lived out the remaining of her days.
Edna’s beautiful lifewill forever be cherished by her husband of 59 years, Sam Henderson, and herseven children: Tracy Henderson (Andrea Bandy), Rick Henderson (Benay Bettis),Larry Henderson, Vicki Johnson (David Johnson), Scott Henderson (Geneva Henderson),Troy Henderson (Diane Henderson), and Derrick Henderson. She also had fourteengrandchildren, and numerous great grandchildren. She was also survived by 3 brothers,Floyd Coleman, Hulan Coleman, and John Coleman; and one sister, Pearl Coleman.
Memorial services will be held at 12 P. M. SaturdayJune 24, 2017 at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, 44 Jackson Rd.Cleveland, GA.
