Gaynelle Turner Cox

Mrs. Gaynelle Turner Cox, age 88, of Buford, GA passed away on Thursday, June 15, 2017.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Rex L. Cox. She is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law, Bart and Toni Cox, Flowery Branch, GA and Rex Cox, Jr. and Cathy Cox, Douglasville, GA; grandchildren, Taylor Cox, Daniel and Crystal Cox, Kevin and Brittany Cox and Alan Cox; four great grandchildren; brother and sister-in-law, W. H. and Carolyn Turner, Brooks, GA; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Mrs. Cox was born March 13, 1929 in Blairsville, GA. She attended Hokes Smith Vocational School. She was a retired office manager for Complete Plant Maintenance Company in East Point, GA for thirty-six years.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, June 17, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. in the Chapel of Flanigan Funeral Home with Rev. Edward Westwood officiating. Interment will follow at 1:30 p.m. at Westview Cemetery in Atlanta, GA.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday, June 17, 2017 from 9:30 a.m. until time of service at 11:00 a.m.
