Carolyn W. Timms

Carolyn W. Timms, age 85 of Gainesville, passed away on June 12, 2017. She was born in Jefferson, Georgia to the late W.D. Mote and the late Iona Westmoreland Mote and was a graduate from Jefferson High School. Carolyn was a native of Jefferson, but spent the past 20 years in Gainesville and was a member of New Liberty Methodist Church in Braselton.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Paul E. Timms. She is survived by her daughter Carol Batey of Gainesville, son and daughter-in-law Danny and Stephanie Timms of Carrollton, son and daughter-in-law Mike and Beth Timms of Gainesville, and brother J.R. Mote of Conyers.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00am on Thursday, June 15, 2017 at Memorial Park North Riverside Chapel. Interment will follow at New Liberty Methodist Church Cemetery in Braselton.
