Evelyn Chalk

Mrs. Evelyn Chalk, age 91, of Cleveland, passed away Saturday, June 10, 2017.   

Mrs. Chalk was born in Augusta, Georgia to the late Roy and Bertha Mae Haywood Sammons.  She was a homemaker and a member of the Overcomers Outreach Center in Augusta.  Mrs. Chalk was preceded in death by her husband, Carvil J. Chalk, and her sister, Helen. 

Survivors include, son and daughter in law, Dan and Donna Chalk, Cleveland; grandchildren, Dannie Chalk, Cleveland; Carvil and Jacqueline Chalk, Huntsville, Alabama; and great-grandchildren, Caroline Chalk, Catherine Chalk, and Emma Chalk. 

Private Graveside services were held at Hillcrest Memorial Park in Augusta.
