Hannah Stewart Rice

 Hannah Stewart Rice, age 79 of Statham, passed away Friday, June 09, 2017 at her residence following an extended illness.

 At the request of the family, they will have a private service.

 Mrs. Rice was born September 1, 1937 in Atlanta, Georgia to the late C.D. Stewart and the late Dessie Williams Stewart. She was a graduate of Gainesville High School Class of 1955 and was of the Baptist faith. Mrs. Rice was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Dennis Rice and her sister, Clarice Bishop.

 Mrs. Rice is survived by her daughter, Adria Savage of Oakwood; daughter, Amby Smith of Dawsonville; daughter, Trish Davis of Statham; daughter, Wendy Gaze of Alpharetta; son, Dr. Denny Rice of Boston; brother, Dr. Richard Stewart; 34 grandchildren and great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.
