Joan Turk, 77 of Flowery Branch died Monday June 5, 2017 at the Northeast Georgia Medical Center.
Born in Hoschton, Ga., Ms. Turk had lived in Hall County for most of her life. She was the daughter of the late Selby and Ella Mae Kilgore Turk. She was a graduate of South Hall High School Class of 1958, was retired from Con-Agra with over 45 years of service and was a member of Chestnut Mountain Baptist Church.
Survivors include her sister and brother-in-law Jeanette and Harold Benefield, Flowery Branch; sister-in-law, Linda Turk, Flowery Branch; nieces and nephews, Jeff and Shauna Turk, Jefferson; Ken and Tracie Turk, Flowery Branch; Becky Vinson, Flowery Branch; great nieces and nephews, Sydney Turk, Peyton Vinson, Jacob Turk, Caroline Turk, Katelyn Vinson, Tatum Turk; great great nephew, Gabe Blankenship.
Ms. Turk is preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Jerry Turk.
Celebration of life services will be held at 12:00 p.m. Saturday June 10, 2017 in the chapel of Little & Davenport Funeral Home. Rev. Phil Carpenter will officiate. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until the funeral hour..

In lieu of flowers the family has asked that memorial contributions be made to Chestnut Mountain Baptist Church Building Fund or ones favorite charity.
