Paul “Michael” Ceresini

Obituary Date: Wednesday, May 31, 2017

Paul “Michael” Ceresini, 48, of Cumming, GA died suddenly and unexpectedly on May 31, 2017. Michael was born on August 9, 1968 in Silver Spring, MD and relocated with his wife and 2 small children to their home on Lake Lanier in Cumming, GA in September of 1998.

Michael was a man of many talents and abilities with a thirst for knowledge and understanding. Everyone who knew Michael had a story; about something he made, something he said, something he grew, or something he cooked. He was truly a jack of all trades, a man who loved to learn and try new things, and who was capable of anything and everything. His passions were far reaching but first and foremost was his family. He was a wonderful father who was immensely proud of his three children. His love for them knew no bounds and he willingly sacrificed everything to make a home and a life for his three great loves. When times were tough, he got tougher. At the worst of times he did what a dedicated father and husband does; he spent three years working offshore in the Gulf of Mexico in the oil industry only seeing his family 5 out of every 21 days. His family will always be grateful for his sacrifice and commitment to the life he shared with them.

Michael was a man of honor and integrity who believed a job worth doing was worth doing right. His standards were high and his knowledge was vast. He was quick to say, “if you want to fix it, you first have to know how it works”. However, he took mischievous pleasure upon witnessing failed attempts at daily tasks with an all too often quip of, “you only have to be 1% smarter…than the car, the grill, the new coffee pot”. He just could not fathom that the rest of the world did not possess his super human strength of knowing the inner workings of the world in which we live.

Michael was preceded in death by his grandfather, Norman “Cy” Ayers his Grandparents Paul G. and Audrey Ceresini, his step-brother David L. Armbruster and his nephew Nicholas Ceresini. Michael is survived by his loving wife of 20 years, Theresa Lynn Ceresini of Cumming, GA, his daughter Gabrielle Rose (20) and her fiancé PV2 Sebastian Vincent Millican, his son Donovan Michael Ceresini (19) and his son Paul “Vincent” Ceresini (13) all of Cumming, GA, his mother and stepfather, Norma Jean Armbruster and Gary R. Armbruster of Ocala, FL, his grandmother Mary J. Ayers of Wheaton, MD, his father Paul P. Ceresini and Diane Burdine of Rockville, MD, his brother Scott (Diana) Ceresini , nephew Justin Ceresini and nieces Ashley, Lauren and Katelyn Ceresini of Clarksburg, MD, his step-brother Michael G. Armbruster of Gilbertsville, PA, his mother and father-in-law Bill and Sandy Hulon of Cumming, GA, his sister in-law Laura Turnell and nephew Gregory Turnell of Rocky Point, NC and sister in-law Deborah Clark and nieces Chelsey Lynn and Danielle Coston of Rocky Point, NC as well as his “very best good friends” Michael N. Hurley and James H. Steele and many other cherished aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
