Funeral services for Jerry Ray Tallman, age 83, of Clarkesville will be held on Saturday, June 3, 2017 at 2:00 PM from the Hillside Memorial Chapel. Interment will follow the service in Hillside Gardens Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday prior to the service from 1-2 PM.
Mr. Tallman passed away Monday, May 29, 2017 following a brief illness.
Mr. Tallman was born in Jacksonville, Florida on May 23, 1934. He was the son of the late Cecil Ray Tallman. Mr. Tallman was retired from St. Regis Paper Company and he later worked at Loreley Resort.
Survivors include his wife Genevieve Bishop Tallman of Clarkesville, son Michael Ray Tallman, Sr. and his wife Yvette of Callahan, Florida, son Brady Alan Tallman of Clarkesville, grandsons Michael Ray Tallman, Jr. (Halee) and John Patrick Tallman (Brianna) and granddaughters Jamie Lee Tallman and Ashley Renae Tallman all of Jacksonville, Florida as well as three great grandchildren.
