Nell Crane Scott, age 76 of Commerce, GA passed away Monday, May 29, 2017.
Born in Cornelia, GA, Ms. Scott was the daughter of the late James and Minnie Emmett Crane. She worked a number of years as a seamstress at Ila Sewing Plant and was a member of Madison Street Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by brothers, Paul Crane, Jerry Crane and George Crane; sisters, Elizabeth Perry& Shirley Crane.
Survivors include daughter, Shelby Jordan, Commerce; brother, William Crane, Lavonia; sister, Linda Ray, Maysville; and special friend, John Turner, Commerce; two grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held 3:00 pm Thursday, June 01, 2017 at Ivie Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Donald Wilson officiating. Burial will follow in the Grove Level Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends 6-8 pm Wednesday, May 31, 2017 at the funeral home.
