Dorothy Virginia Pritchett

Mrs. Dorothy Virginia Pritchett, age 98, of Colbert, GA died Monday, May 29, 2017 at Piedmont-Athens Regional Medical Center.  Mrs. Pritchett was born in Commerce to the late R.A. and Cammie Segars Minish.  She was a member of Erastus Christian Church and was retired from Commerce Sportswear.  In addition to her parents, Mrs. Pritchett was preceded in death by her husband, Swayne Jolly Pritchett and son, Sammy Pritchett.

Mrs. Pritchett is survived by her daughters, Beth Gordon of Commerce and JoAnn Hanley of Colbert; son, Jerry Pritchett of Travelers Rest, SC; five grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be at 11 AM, Wednesday, May 31 graveside at Jackson Memorial Park with Rev. Eddie Gordon and Rev. Douglas Duncan officiating.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home Tuesday night from 5 to 7 PM.
