Lee Weldon Washington

Mr. Lee Weldon Washington, age 57 of Gainesville, passed away on Wednesday, May 24, 2017 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center following a sudden illness.

Funeral services are scheduled for Saturday, June 3, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home.  Interment will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery.  Reverend Rodney Lackey will officiate.  The family will receive friends on Friday, June 2, 2017 from 6 – 8 pm at the funeral home.

Mr. Washington was born July 2, 1959 in Hartwell, Georgia to William Washington and Hazel Johnson Washington.  He was employed with A-1 Vaccinating Inc. and was of the Baptist Faith.

Mr. Washington is survived by his mother, Hazel Washington of Gainesville, brothers, Jessie (JoAnn) Johnson of Griffin and Owen Washington of Gainesville and his sisters, Ann Rucker of Gainesville, Kaydell (James) Wallace of Gainesville and Christine Washington of Gainesville.
