Mrs. Silvia Gabriela Escalante-Garcia, age 39 of Gainesville, passed away on Thursday, May 25, 2017 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center following a sudden illness.
Funeral services are scheduled Sunday, May 28, 2017 at 3:30 p.m. at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church with interment to follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. Reverend Javier Chavez will officiate. The family will receive friends on Saturday May 27, 2017 from 12:00 noon- 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
Mrs. Escalante was born on June 05, 1977 in Durango, Mexico to the late Hilario Escalante Gonzalez and Amada Garcia Garcia. She was a homemaker and was a member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church. She is preceded in death by her parents, and son, Josue Aguirre.
Silvia is survived by her son, Noe Esparza Jr. of Gainesville, daughters, Eliam Esparza of Gainesville and Sarahi Esparza of Gainesville, partner, Emilio Aguirre of Gainesville, sisters, Nora Escalante of Gainesville, Julieta Escalante of Gainesville, San-Juana Escalante of Gainesville, Reyna Griffin of Gainesville, Yajaira Chavez of Mexico, Mersedes Escalante of Mexico and Lorena Escalante of Mexico and brother, Jesus Chavez of Mexico.
