Gertrude T. Blalock

Ivie Funeral Home announces services for Gertrude T. Blalock 91 of Nicholson, Ga. who died Friday May 19, 2017.  She was the daughter of the late Marshal and Rosa Lee Browning Trowell and the widow of Marshal Fred Blalock.  Survivors include 3 Sons Marvin (Linda) Blalock of Danielsville, Terry Blalock of Nicholson and Chester ( Susan) Blalock of Hull, Ga.  5 Daughters Barbara Thompson of Nicholson, Ruby ( Howard) Bridges of Danielsville, Dianne Fazzone of Anderson, S.C. Alice (Cody ) Jolley of Leesburg, Ga. and Lisa ( Scott )_ Hulsey of Maysville, Ga. One Brother James Trowell of Dallas, Ga. 27 Grandchilden, 32 Great Grandchildren and 7 Great Great Grandchildren.  
Funeral Services will be Monday at 2 PM from the Chapel of Ivie Funeral Home with Rev. Don Blalock officiating with burial in the Center United Methodist Church Cemetery.  The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 PM at the funeral home Sunday evening.
