Donald Michael Hardman

Alexander Funeral Home of Cleveland announces the death of Mr.Donald Michael Hardman, age 72 of Cleveland. Mr Hardman passed away Friday, May 19, 2017. A memorial service is scheduled for 3:00pm, Sunday, May 21, 2007 in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Chris Webb officiating. Mr. Hardman was born in Jackson County on October 9, 1944 to the late William Jackson Hardman and Montine Sorrow Hardman. In his younger days, he worked for Coca Cola, later with Scovill and Talon and would serve as a police officer with both the Cornelia and Baldwin Police Departments for a number of years and finally with Piggly Wiggly before retiring to enjoy his passion for fishing and collecting Coca Cola memorabilia He was a longtime member of Camp Creek Baptist Church in Habersham County and is preceded in death by his son, Donald and his brother, James.
Survivors include his wife, Kathy Lee Hardman of Cleveland, daughter, Angelia Usher (Daniel) of Alto; son, Benjamin Michael Hardman (Tonya) of Baton Rouge, LA; brothers,William Hardman (Vesta) of Athens, Bobby Hardman (Stella) of Savannah and David Hardman of Ila, GA. Mr. Hardman is also survived by his 10 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.
