Bonnie G. Orr

Bonnie G. Orr, age 88, passed away at his home in Sugar Hill, GA on May 18, 2017, following an extended illness. He is survived by his wife of sixty-four years, Farris Williams Orr; daughter, Robin Orr Leuthold, and husband, Robert Leuthold of Sugar Hill; son, Todd Orr, and wife, Merry Jo Luisi Orr of Buford; and sister, Allene O. Hitt of Dalton. He retired from General Motors after thirty years of service and was a veteran of the Korean war. He was a member of West Buford Baptist Church where he served as Deacon for forty years and retired as Deacon Emeritus in his seventy-fifth year. A graveside service will be held at Friendship Baptist Church Cemetery in Buford, GA on Saturday, May 20, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Robert Leuthold and Rev. Jerry McCormick officiating. The family will receive friends Friday, May 19, 2017, from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Flanigan Funeral Home. The family request no flowers.
