Doris Faye Bennett Sears

Mrs. Doris Faye Bennett Sears, age 86, of Baldwin, GA died Monday, May 15, 2017 at Northridge Medical Center.  Mrs. Sears was born in Homer to the late Boyd Harrison and Cora Stubblefield Bennett.  She was retired from Blue Bell. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Sears was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Hoyt Sears.

Mrs. Sears is survived by her daughters, Barbara Kime of Athens, Judy Owensby of Maysville and Linda Beales of Homer; son, Dwight Sears of Cleveland; brother, Paul Bennett of Commerce; sisters, Martha Ann Eubanks and Patricia Bennett both of Commerce.

Funeral services will be at 2 PM, Thursday, May 18 at Nails Creek Baptist Church with Rev. Swayne Carlan and Rev. Duane Eller officiating.  Interment will follow in the church cemetery.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home Wednesday night from 5 to 8 PM.
