Bathsheba Metcalf McPherson, age 63, of Lawrenceville, GA passed away on Friday, May 12, 2017. She was preceded in death by her parents, Millard and Ruth Buice Metcalf. She is survived by her husband of forty-five years, Danny McPherson; children, Crystal and Ken Burke, Lawrenceville, GA and Carrie McPherson, Lawrenceville, GA; six grandchildren, Alisha and Amanda Wilson, Ashley, Amanda and Mark DeWitt, Hunter Wilson, Joseph Barr and Nicholas McPherson; three great grandchildren, Avery Grimes, Charlie Grimes and Bentley Dewitt; brothers and sister-in-law, Millard Metcalf, Jr., Suwanee, GA and Troy and Terry Metcalf, Suwanee, GA; and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Mrs. McPherson was born March 24, 1954 in Duluth, GA. She received her education at Milton High School in Alpharetta, GA. She was a homemaker. She was a member of Shady Grove Baptist Church in Suwanee, GA, Shakerag Community. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, May 17, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. at Shady Grove Baptist Church with Rev. Michael Spurr officiating. The remains will be placed in state at the church at1:00 p.m. Interment will be at Shady Grove Baptist Church Cemetery, Suwanee, GA. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday, May 16, 2017, from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.
